You people can argue the merits of turbocharging all you want. I'll stick with the twin screw KB for it's ease of installation, maintenance, and power throughout the rpm band.

I went up against a twin turbo 800hp Supra a few weeks ago from a standing start, and took him by just about a car length! He got all pissed off about how I didn't give him time to build boost, yada, yada, well, too bad pal! Why don't I just give you a three second head start while I'm at it?

when you shut down? If he didn't have enough time to build boost he may not have had the proper size turbo for his app.

How man stock cars have came with PD blower?

How many have came with turbos?

LOL, i thought all supras were required to oversize their turbo to get the numbers on the dyno.

The Mercedes compressors have PD blowers.
Ford GT, GT500s, cobras, lightenings, etc have PD blowers.

Loads of cars have turbos. Most newer diesels are turbos. STI, EVo, etc.

The dyno shop is over two hours from here.....any thoughts on this??
I know that my 2.6L KB on my 07 GT has whats called "valet mode". In which the blow off valve (its technicly not a bov) is locked open and allows most the boost to escape. My car tuned ran 480 RWHP. With it open it only made 350 RWHP with about 5 psi at top end.

I agree with the above that you should only consider the intercooled kit.

Your set up is absolutely gorgeous dude. That's one of the best looking Mach Engine's i've seen. That thing is sweet. Nice work!

I'm running a non-intercooled 2.1L KB on my Cougar (5.0L Stroker DOHC). I agree that if you have the option to get an intercooled kit, get it. I'm running the "B" heads, which Kenne Bell doesn't offer a intercooled kit for unfortunately. I'm currently tuning in my methanol injection setup to take care of the high IAT's I'm seeing. My current drive ratio is 2:1 to create 9 psi on my engine. Once it's all dialed in, I'll get back over to the track.

Thanks for the props! It does get a lot of compliments, which makes the time, effort, and money spent on it worth it.

Here's a couple of pictures somebody took of it at the American Muscle.com car show a couple of weeks ago.

I have a 2.6L on my 97 GT. I like it, it makes decent power, I had a bit of some issues with getting the tuning done. Learned there can be an issue with some aftermarket cams with a kb on a 2v, since the bypass flows from cylinder 5. Some of the profiles will cause the fuel to be pulled from that cylinder go lean and misfire. I have a set of MPH KB cams, and should be installing them this winter, hopefully correcting this.

The Kit fit well, just had to add, A cobra R hood, JLT '03 cobra air intake, and injectors.

On 9psi, 487hp/ 482tq, best et's: 12.8@116mph full street trim, 11.9@115 with sticky tires. 3635lbs with driver at 5800 feet above sea level.
