Need help with the 3.55 Gear Ratio
Hi
I just installed a 3.55 gear ratio in my 97 mustang GT And it does a noise when I release acceleration So.. Can you help me with this?? |

you didn't do the job correctly, take it to a place.. why 3.55?? AT LEAST 3.73!

tighten the pinion nut up a little bit like a 1/4 a turn and drive it again,
you just have the lash set to loose, if it whines when you let out of the throttle

if it still whines, when you let off the gas then tighten it up a smug more!
if it roars all the time or when your in the throttle its to tight
