Let's talk about tint for a moment

What are most of you guys running that will not get you in trouble with the law? I came from BMW over to Ford and everyone was doing a ceramic tint?

well im doing whats legal in my state which would be FL .. its 35% in the front and 15% in the back

I live in CA and everything is illegal. I want everything to be the same tint all the way around the car and I am hoping a 35% in ceramic Formula 1 Pinnacle Series film will be legal.

i have 5% in my car which is ilegal but. i was only pulled over once and i didnt get a ticket for them.

I dont get how it is illegal when people do it all the time. I work a bmw dealership and we send cars to this one place all the time. It's funny cuz my friend has been pulled over for factory tint....even though his car came with it. However i have seen some dark shit that has never been pulled over. i will never understand the way the law is enforced

how hard is it to tint windows? I payed to have mine done before, i want to tint my windows now, but dont want to pay, is it really that hard?

is not hard but i dont think that you would do it right the first, second or third time.. im sure i could tint windows but is something so cheap that i rather not experiment and get it done right the first time.

I have around 5-10% on my car and I have never been pulled over.

This past Saturday I put 20 percent all around with a top bar of limo on the windshield for 90 bucks which included the removal of the factory tint.... 2010 kona blue

You got a damn good deal if they removed tint also. I need to get my rear window redone but they want 100 just to remove the tint.

I've been pulled over about 10+ times, gotten like 3 tickets in the last year

Luckily I've won all of them, although i had to appear at the DMV... Still, the tints aint goin' no where!

But when it comes to being bothered by cops about this, it really depends on your area, the cop and how far from the tint limit you are.

you can legally do your back window along with the quarter windows as dark as you want... the sides have to let in 70% light and the front cant have anything on them.. but those are only legalities

I did 20% all the way around, but I have a light leather color interior so it dosent look real dark, remember if your interior is black 20% will look alot darker.
