New to Mustangs and wanting to learn.
Well I'm new to mustang's and looking for any advice and knowledge you guys are willing to share. I have done a few easy bolt on's my self, though my car knowledge is some what limited. I am learning fast but would really appreciate anything you guys will pass on.
So, my car. I have an 02 mustang GT, I have put on a 70mm throttle body and plenum. Steeda cai and a Flow-master, American thunder cat less exhaust with x-pipe. Basics but im getting there. What advice can you guys give me on increasing performance without going f/i? Long winded I know lol, sorry.

What do you want out of your car? 1/4, autocross, just a quick dd?
I'd invest in a tuner, especially if you have an auto. Its nice to have if you get more serious with mods in the future.

Full-length subframe connectors may as well be mandatory on these cars. Reworking the rear suspension is a good idea, too, though for specific recommendations it depends on what you're want to do with the car.

Thanks guys. Im really looking for all around improved performance. I use this car for my daily so I don't want to get to crazy. Ill probably mod more toward the 1/4 though because its really the only track we have around here, im not looking to have a raging beast just something to have fun with on the weekends. For the quarter I would like to run mid 13's maybe high 12's.
I was thinking about 3.73 gears, an SCT tuner, rear lower control arms, a strut tower brace and a NEX wet system for a good power adder on my rather low budget. Oh and I already have a set of 1.5 in eibach lowering springs. |

Ditch the STB unless you can get it for free, it's totally unnecessary for your goals.
I'd get good aftermarket UCAs, too. By good, I mean something that uses a spherical bushing on the axle side.
