Really debating on selling the stang

Im really not having much fun in my stang anymore...seems kinda slow and hate thinking about how i could of got a 4v mach 1 for the same price. Im a ford guy and love mustangs but if i sell my gt for 13k i would be able to afford a pretty bad ass semi-built camaro ss or z28 ls1. My friend has one and it really sucks to have mods like me and him to have tune, cai, exhuast and destroy me like a civic...Im in no position either to go F/I for my gt. I wish i could find a 99-04 cobra or 03-04 mach one to trade me buts its literally impossibleeeee

I feel ya. Kinda..
I traded my 5.9l v8 4x4 dodge ram 1500 8" lift

For a 2003 v6 automatic bone stock mustang. I feel like It was a mistake until I think about why i did it. Sure I could have foudn a new car but I did it for the better vehicle in the long run, because I'm starting my life.

If you can get the money out of the car, sure man search for the mach 1. Just keep options open. Hell, maybe even try to find someone with the same car who has it modded differently and do that? I don't know lol just trying to help.

Does suck that your buddies car beat ya though.. it's a shitty feeling. Me and my friend both got new cars,, mine a mustang v6 his an eclipse v6.. he smokes me everytime lol. :\ Guess I'm used to being slow due to it being a v6.

probably be cheaper to build a brand new car from the ground up lol jk but it would be expensive. Im all about "built not bought" but i make like 200 bucks a week and am in college. I can barely afford to drive the fricken thing.

sorry bro, but when you fine out what you can really get out of your car, I say you'll keep it.
as to the other stuff (as in a camaro/etc being faster), I got news for you, theres always someone faster, it doesn't matter what you drive.

i agree with casper dont buy another car bc its faster if you really like your mustang that much. mustangs have a ton of potential. and there is always someone faster.

bugatti only claims 10.2 1/4 mile times with that car, so even with that car, at a typical track on a race day 50% or so of the cars will be faster.

i bought it for 11,000 the cheapest mach 1 ive seen in the last 3 months (i look every other day for mach 1s in michigan) and the cheapest one i found was 14,000 w 52,000 miles and it was one i test drove and 2nd gear was grinding and he took the ad down and jacked up the price to 16,000 and at the bottom of the ad it says new tranny..I was just starting the price at 13,000 i bought it for 11k and if someone will give me 10k for it ill call it a 1,000 dollar mistake. (ps ive had the car for like 3 months)

since ive had it, i put 4.10s in, rear lower control arms, removed the front sway bar, got a rear seat delete and torn out 150lbs worth of crap and it still just aint gettin fast enough :/ idk i just am so pissed i didnt really research the whole 2v vs 4v thing before i bought my car..my goal of fast and what i really want my car to do is a 11.9 without spray or spending over 2500 bucks more

You can piece together a vortech kit for well under 2k. Look at Shaun03GT's sig.

i feel the same way about my car 03stang, with the exception that id like to move up to maybe a cam only lt1. (closer to the price of my sn95) and it would just be amazing to trade for a 96-98 cobra for me.

Find a used centri blower and bolt it on. you'll go from 225ish rwhp to 350rwhp or more. Then from there work on getting the new found power to the ground and then build a motor for even more.

You can find use blowers for under $3k, guys have pieced together kits for under 2ks
