only one gear or all of them? if theres no grinding and on all the gears it sounds like a clutch issue

There's no grinding just hard to get into gear just had a ram hdx installed less than 2000 miles ago. Also when I'm idling there is a chattering sound coming from the transmission area and when I push the clutch in it stops making noise.

the input shaft bearing mingt be bad that could be the noise in neutral. and you could have a bent shift fork and that will make it hard to get it into gear.. F8L knows alot more about transmissions than me.. maybe he can come up with another idea.

The hard shifting is also intermittent and the adjusting work for a couple of minutes but went right back to doing it should I replace the cable and adjuster and quadrant.
