4.0L Whipple VS. 2.3L Whipple


Just a cool comparison of the two!

The 4.0 is going on a 2011 Shelby.

The 2.3 is for a Lightning.

Our Lethal GT500 made just over 800hp with the 4.0L setup on 21lbs, which is well below its efficiency. We'll be pulleying it soon, but the 2011 5.0L has priority now with the Whipple install this week. Definitely a nasty blower.

with nitrous and meth maybe.. on pump gas you wont ever see anything over 800hp out of a small block ford modular .

Just because the blower's big doesn't mean we've got it setup to its efficiency. With a more aggressive tune I'm sure we could make more power but we're saving that for the bigger boost. Efficiency on this thing is around 25lbs, which will make a big difference. It's running 9.60s now with not much track time so with a little power we can't wait to see what we'll get out of it. Remember, hp isn't everything
