Go with the O/R H with some borla/FRPP stingers! That is the best sound you are going to get for your 3V.
And if you are wanting to stay emmissons legal go with a catted H, personally I hate the sound of Xs on the 05+. StangLifeMike has this set up, and I think he has some videos of it.

I really dont know, but I bet if you did a little research on the internet at Mustang shops you could find out! And by going FRPP mufflers it is cheaper than going with the Borla which are the exact same except the logo stamped on them!

for the frpp exhaust
would it sound like this with the frpp GTA mufflers and x http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQOSNtb3XWY or would it sound more like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUSCOgffMZI IMO the first one sounds like it is ALOT deeper, but could be cause they are recorded by camera...and not in person |

I agonized over price too, but in the end I went with Borla's top end after-cat. I'm in CA. I wrote about fifteen emails to an outfit in San Diego, JBA (?) but never got an answer so I guess they didn't want to sell a $1,500 system. The Borla with Ford Racing ceramic shorty came to about 1k with stangsuspension.com. I almost went with Steeda on account of the lower price, but it's only about a 100 dollar difference or so and Borla has a million mile warranty... I'm building my 02 to last me the rest of my life so that sounded (and does sound) great. The key factor in all this exhaust stuff for me was droan. I didn't want a system that droans at 70 -80 mph. Steeda, JBA, and Borla are engineered not to droan.

dmachine22 i had the Flowmasters 40's with catless x pipe, OMG that was pretty loud. it did sound good at times, but had to turn it down some, so switched over from the Flowmasters, yesterday to MagnaFlow Cat Back 2 1/2 and 3" tips 399.00 to finish off the exhaust. has a deeper sound to it now, and not as loud, little but not as mush with the flowmasters.

prochamber is insteak of them crossing over it goes into a chamer, llike in the middle it is mushed together and then sent out seperately again. I dont like prochamers sound but they perform flawlessly
