Auto to Manual swap question

I found a guy with a S197 manual GT that is looking to trade to auto. I have a '05 V6 auto, would there be any hold-ups with the swap. Basically, are there any differences between the V6 and GT trans?

you'll need to go v-6 to v-6, or v-8 to v-8, sorry bro.
some things (ie the pedals, consol parts, small stuff like that) will be the same, but the big stuff is diffrent.

Yeah apparently someone makes an adaptor for it to work but it's $700 and it's gonna start to add up quickly for a rather ineffective mod in terms of performance imo. Might as well put that $$ towards an 8.8 or something more worthwhile
