Exhaust
I have a 2006 Mustang GT with a completely stock engine. I am looking at Flowmasters American Thunder axle back. I want a loud sound but good tone with minimal drone. Any thoughts on this axle back?

My cousin has a set of those on his 07, they sound great but i would go for catbacks instead of the axlebacks. I have a set of magnaflow magnapacks, they are great but a little softer than the american thunders and do drone a little in 5th gear at medium highway speeds (like 60 mph).
Also, if i were you i would go for a cold air or tuner as a first mod if your looking for performance. The mufflers won't give much of a boost at all if any, just sound. If that's what you're looking for though then go for it. I've also heard good things about SLP and Borla in case you wanna check those out too. |
