magnaflow exhaust tip keeps coming loose


anyone else having issues with their magnaflow catback exhaust tip(s) coming loose and goin all cockeyed??..all that holds them in place is a little set screw, i get it as tight as i possibly can but its always bumping loose and out of alignment

good thinkin, i have a mig welder and could do it. but its stainless exhaust. i would need a tig i believe.

i was having the same problem except they werent magnaflow so i just dumped mine

very common problem with magnaflow. Trim the rod down and then use locktite on the allen wrench screw

pretty much. after the muffler, there will be like a 3 inch pipe that turns down towards the ground.

dumped mean to have the exhaust pipe dumped right after the muffler. There is no tubing to lead to the back.

Ahh gotcha..where would you guys recommend getting a magnaflow catback from? I know performancepeddler.com and completeexhaust.com have them for pretty cheap..anyone know other places?
