Alternator issues!!

Just want to know if anyone has purchased a PA Performance alternator (130 amp) I've been having trouble with my motorcraft 110 amp and its been rebuilt twice. It works for about a month or two then craps out. Wont charge over 12 volts so yup the battery eventually goes dead. I'm wandering if the PA Performance alternator is worth the buy?

I through the p0340 code just last week. When I did some research on the code I ran across some people talking about the PA Perf. Alt. and they said they were really good. I dont know from experience but from what Ive read, I'd give em a chance
