Want to stand out!! risky?

Hey guys, i was thinking about changing stuff up. I'm looking to maybe take a risk and stand out a bit. Right now i have the rims pictured in my signature, but i want to get the chrome lip powder coated black. Ive seen some cool pics of cars with a stripe around the lip of the rim and i was wondering how you guys think it would look with a sonic blue stripe around the outside lip of the rim? The car below isnt mine, but as close as i could find as far as color and rim. Could anyone photoshop the stripe on for me so i can see it before i try it? Let me know your opinions!

Really?

I guess a small, color matched stripe is a pretty big risk, maybe you should just start with some color matched tire pressure caps

I was trying to be funny, I dont really like a chrome lip (full chrome rims are ok)
There is no reason you should not get the stripe done, it looks sick as hell, no matter the color

(thats a good group of pics BTW)

Hmmm, I am on the fence about it, but if you think it will look good then go for it.

I prefer chrome over anything, but I prefer blue lip over all black, and besides you want to be different that is definitely different and not in a distasteful sense.

Yeah and i can always have the stripe taken off if i dont like it. Anyone have experience with powder coating? how much should it cost to get the chrome changed to black?

Thats not too bad, ill do some shopping around. I dont know anything about powder coating, whether theyll have to redo the whole rim or just will be able to do the chrome lip in black to match. My guess would be that theyd have to do the whole rim.
