so im goin in deployment hopefully sooner than later but while im over there i plan to save for a termi or s197.... i like speed but truthfully dont have a track close to my home or the roads to do anything on... they do have mustang shows but no tracks


so as far as looks what would be ideal to you....

Went through the same thing before I bought my '06. The only reason I bought the S197 over the cobra was because I was going to have to drive it in the winter and I just couldn't bring myself to do that to a Cobra.

Now however, you can get a low mile S197 for much less than clean, low mile Cobra. So it would be tough. The S197 chassis is leaps and bounds better. But the Cobra has a lot more potential out of the gate. The S197 is also more comfortable and has a lot of potential as well. Just not as much as the Cobra as far as performance goes.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably have gone with the Cobra and bought a $500 beater.

Id choose the termi too, and like jake said, get a beater too. I think about it all the time, what if I got the termi instead.

ill keep my mystic. im kinda set on a s197 just cause they are sexy but shit so are the cobras...

im a fan of the s197. evey day the sn95 platform just seems to pale in comparison to the s197s and the 2010+ stangs even make the 05-09's look old and blocky imho, but still better than the termis. if you get the termi make sure it has a kick ass stance and fat ass tires. otherwise my vote goes to the s197.
