g force chips??
i was looking at chips and tuners and came across gfchips.com which has a chip rating at 60 hp and 4-7mpg now i kno i wont get that but its 69.99. could someone check it out and tell me what they think about.

im pretty sure my ricer friends in highschool tried to do the same thing... some of the one i seen that look similar to that "gchip" they would trick the computer into thinking the engines IATs were superlow or something of the sort.... they dont work.
i spent like 2 something for the chip i got from american muscle and noticed a big difference especially as far as shifting goes (auto) |

He's right, you get what you pay for, if your car is a 5spd, a tuner isn't going to make a great deal of difference on the npi 4.6. But if you are going to get one American Muscle has a free tunes for life deal, so with every new mod you can change your tune.

thaats what i was thinking so i should probally go with a hand help tuner for around 350.00 what do u think i will gain in hp with just cold-air intake for now?

all they are is a fancy looking resistor that fakes out the computer into thinking that the IAT is really low. if you really wanna try it go to radio shack and get a 100ohm resistor and plug it into the MAF sensor plug and cover it with electrical tape.

ok i will take your guys advice i recently found new ford racing romeo heads and new intake for 850.00 so i guess ill take that road first then go from there thanks guys
