if you are just putting long tubes on, then most people will suggest dropping the k member. Since you are also doing a clutch at the same time, my suggestion is to leave the k member on, and do the headers when you have the tranny out for the clutch. It makes it much easier to do the headers.

Yeah thats what I did pulled the tranny. But if im not mistaken you cant put th tranny in once I put the bbk header(longtube) I heard only mac and another one allows you to leave the headers on when raking tranny out. No im leaving the egr bit I dont have emission in my state want to remove rhe emissions on the headers..

well guys need some advice, have the headers, clutch, and solid motor mounts in. Well my question is the motor mounts lifted the motor about inch maybe a little less. My jlt doesn't even fit no more. but my biggest ? is had big issue getting the tranny to fit back in right. After driving it the clutch releases all the way out and there is some slippage, it feels like the drive train being held down so to speak when trying to go. there is a light vibration in the drive train but comes and goes. now i know I'm gonna feel some due to the solid motor mounts. Any suggestions would be nice

did you make sure to level off the engine after putting it back down into the k member? the motor mounts shouldnt have raised it at all. Are you still running the stock quadrant in the car for the clutch pedal?

Yeah still running stock quasrant but have the steeda after market cable and adjuster to go on. As for the motor should I remove the bolts and lift it with a level on it? But the motor is level now just higher.

are u sure its level? when you dropped it back down did u put a level across it? as far as the clutch, the factory quadrant needs to be reset. that can usually be done by pulling the pedal towards you, the quadrant should click
