Possibly a bent valve?
So yesterday I jump in my car to head over to my buddies house for a party, and as soon as I start my car I notice something..Different..It didnt sound right..It's hard to explain, the best I can explain is it doesnt sound healthy anymore, it doesnt have the lound and deep roar, it sounds muffled, almost underwater, or as if something is holding it back (If that makes any sense) but at first I thought it was just me, I mean it was running perfectly fine the night before. So I take off and I'm drving it, and it's really bothering me, it definately doesnt sound like it used to, and it felt sluggish, again I thought it was just me, so I got on it a bit in first and second and wow, I could sprint faster, it had no power and sounded like hammered shit, so I turned it around and parked it. Now the night before I did race it around against a E46 M3 on the freeway and played with it around town a bit, but i know for a fact I did NOT redline it once, nor did I miss a shift, if I was stepping on it I shifted around 6k or less each time, and it ran fine the whole night. So I really don't know what's wrong with it, symptoms of a bent valve maybe?

Sounds more like a plugged up cat than a bent valve.

No cats on it. I'm thinking I could have fouled a plug or two?
