Got a great deal on some Gt4 Rims
I got 18X9 Black with chrome lip GT4 Rims for $300 with new tires, michelin pilot sport tires, seemed like a great deal so i went for it.
my question though is that The front wheels are 255/45/r18 the rears are 285/35/r18 Did i put the wheels in the right spot? I know the rear tires are wider but the front tires the middle number is 45 and im guessing thats the height of tires, and the rear is 35 so i am confused if i did it right or not, I dont want my car looking lower in the back than in the front lol (Edit) i just checked outside and the front tires do seem taller than the rear ones, would this be a problem?? Also another problem is, i noticed today that i put the front tires in opposite directional sides, The direction of rotation is backwards, would that be a problem?(the way i put them the arrow is pointing the opposite way) Any help would be appreciated thanks! |

im not sure so much on the tire profile size but i would assume you want the taller tire in the back...
as for the arrow pointing that means you have directional tires and obviously you want the arrow pointing the way it rolls |

45's are a little taller, itll be fine, just keep the wide ones in the back.

keep the wider tires in the rear, otherwise shit will look weird. second directional tires must be going the right way. if you go through even the smallest puddle of water you will start hydroplaning because the water will have nowhere to go and will stay in you treads..

![]() I don't think that the tire will make too much of a visual difference. As long as the one in the back is the right diameter, it won't be a problem.
