what is the best sounding muffler/resonator?

im looking for a different sound for my car. i have tried bassani, magnapacks, and 40 series flowmasters. i hear some mustangs with a really loud poppy sounding exhaust and thats what i want but i have no idea what they are using. any ideas?

my dad ran borla and it was really poppy on his....and if you want something different you could buy some corsa red mufflers and weld them in...there is a video of a 4v cobra on youtube with them and it sounds awesome

if i were you, i would leave the magnapacks on and ditch the O/R X-pipe for an H-pipe. they produce a raspy sound and take away from what could be a deeper more muscle sound produced by an H-pipe that sounds oh so sexy=]

this video is sex

I have Pypes LT- Metallic cats - Pypes X-Pipe- Roush O/R cat back but replaced the mufflers with Corsa Extreme Axle-backs. Now because of little or no backpressure the Brapping/Blapping Droning above 2500rpm was so extreme I used CCinserts after the cats and now the sound is absolutely amazing.

Never was a Borla person but have a set of Stinger catbacks with a Bassani O/R H-pipe and it sounds great, deep yet raspy when you get on it.
