Changed plugs, now idling rough

Ok, so I decided to change out my plugs today on my 2000 Mustang GT. Got the OEM motorcraft platinum plugs, to replace my old worn plugs. I replaced them one by one, being careful to blow all dirt out of the way with compressed air, anti-seizing the new plugs, and used dielectric grease on the boot spring connector. I slightly adjusted the gaps on the first 2 to fit the recommended .054, but the other 6 were okay.

In trying to get to the plugs I removed the fuel rail by accident, it sprayed, and I reinstalled, nothing is leaking from this now. One fuel injector that came out of is seating was quite dirty though.

I started the car up and it has a rough idle, with a light pop about once a second. If i rev it up, the car will rev to about 3500 RPM then break. I checked all connectors, and everything is seated properly. There is no check engine light being thrown, but something is definitely not right.

If anyone has any constructive ideas I would greatly appreciate it. I've checked around on forums, and I've seen multiple people have this problem, but no real constructive advice.

I have had the same problem before. Go back a check all your coil packs. Or while the engine is running start pulling the connectors off of each coil pak one at a time as you do you will hear the motor miss and change sound when that happens you know that coil is working plug back in and go to the next if you unplug one and the motor don't change sound you know that is the one that is giving the problem.I always keep extra coils if any kind of moisture gets to the plug it will miss fire hope this helps or you could have a bad boot also.
