distributor
now I need the distributor replace and I wandering if you a v8 distributor would work for all v8s, and also would replacing a distributor throw off the timing ?

First off, you are only doing a distributor on '95 and below. Second yes it will. You need the proper one, the gear at the bottom wont always fit right or timing will be off. What year car are we talking about here?
