A/F Gauge

I think my car is running on the lean side because of the removed cats and not having MIL elimnators yet. So I been thinking about getting an A/F gauge Found a used one for like $18 bucks from a guy. But its been my experience those things are shit pretty much. What you guys think?

They give a rough ball park estimate if you use the normal narrow band o2 sensors, but once you get the wideband they work much better. At least that is what one of the speed shops around here said!

Yeah me too! I think that I am going to buy an A/F gauge and another gauge and stick them on the pillar I just love the look of it! Then once I have a blower or nitrous that is where those gauges will go! What other gauge do you recommend I am thinking temp or fuel, because my fuel doesnt read correctly. I have 5 gallons left in the tank and it says I am empty!

DO NOT buy an aftermarket fuel gauge they are shit. I have had 2 and autometer with the needle, it moves to damn much because it doesnt have a slosh module like the stock gauge. Then I had nordskog make me a digital one and it was just as shitty. Buy a cluster from a junk yard 1st!

And ACE paid me cash last saturday when I helped out at a huge sale! What do you do now and what are you going to be doing at ford?

Nope I tried everywhere that deals with cars! all the quick lube places want you to be 18 and anyway to communicate with the other workers I would have to speak another language! The only place that would hire me was a Mustang shop that is across town and I dont want to be spending all of my pay check on gas to get to work! It would have been great fun, but owel!

Yeah I prolly should too, but I dont care if they speak our language! I also dont care what race they are! I have the same feeling for anyother race that comes here and doesnt speak out language! And if they are illegal I dont care what race they are, I just care that they are illegal! The ones that are here legally is fine, but the ones that are here illegally just tick me off more and more!

reckon how come my plugs looked lean (white)

last time i checked i have a
p1443= evaporative emission control system - vacuum system- purge control solenoid or purge control valve fault

p0402= egr flow excessive at idle

p0420= catalyst system efficiency below limit - bank no 1

are these causeing me to be lean?
