mods
alright my freind has 1,000 bucks to spend on his GT, he's buying an exhaust but that doesnt take away from the 1,000 bucks what do you guys recommend. Its an 00-01 GT 5 speed
looking for all recommendations, performance or visual

if you plan on supercharging i wouldn't go with the nitrous. Gears, Tuner and short throw if he has a stock setup right now... That would be the best bang for your buck. And put you right around 1000. If you have a little extra get a CAI... but don't get something chrome.. make sure its plastic.. chrome can hurt your performance. I would recommend a JLT intake.

I suggest 4.10s! Then a Handheld tuner from doug at bamachips.com and then a MGW, Pro 5.0, or steeda tri-ax Shifter!

Gears should cost less then 500, and I have the perfect addons for sale in the classifieds section!
K&N CAI, 70mm TB, upper plenum, and a tuner! lol, just something to think about and I really wanna sell them.

Oh and IMO gears should definetly be at the top of the list, 3.73 or 4.10
