I obviously don't know anything about Texas installation shops, but my local Ford Dealership installed my Bassani's for me. If I take them parts, they'll put them on. Worth a phone call anyway. If they won't, they can probably tell you of a reputable performace shop in your area. Good luck!

Find a buddy with decent mechanical skills and tools. Then you and him can install it yourselves with some beer to help the process.

your garage!!!
changing a catback is as easy as rotating your tires...
if you have ONE wrench and i pry bar/ long screw driver to disconnect it from the exhaust hanger, you can do it. itll probably take you 20 minutes even if you don't know a hammer from a jack stand...
good luck!

This is going to sound racist and politically incorrect in most every way, but it's worked well for me in the past. Go to a lower rent neighborhood, find a shop with a bunch of Mexicans or other minorities and have them mount it up for you. It's easy to save 70% or more on labor this way, and their work is as good as any shop in a fancy neighborhood. Sorry if I offend anyone with this post, it's not my intention.

I don't care if it's racist, but you could have saved yourself all the trouble of writing out all those disclaimers by simply stating: "Go to a cheap mechanic in a poor neighborhood. It's a simple mod and you'll pay less in a poor neighborhood as opposed to a $95 an hour speed shop."

Sound advice nonetheless.

Well depending on where/whom you buy the catback from it could have clamps or need welds. I bought mine from AM & it was just simple clamps

I'm sure in all cases all of the minorities' work is as good as all of the "higher class" mechanics. I'm sure of it.
