That is not an okay way to lower your car. When you get lowering springs, you need higher spring rates to account for the decrease in effective stiffness from reducing the length over which the car's weight is distributed. You do not want to cheap out and throw any old shit on it just to get it lower.

thats not the reason to get the 4 cly springs - its not a cheap way out as you just put, you need to have some idea what your talkin about before you post. you dont want 4 4cly springs - just two up front - with stock springs in back - this is one of the best drag racing setups as it allows for excellent weight transfer to the rear, raising the front up and launching forward

springs
dont do that, the 4 banger fox springs are not meant for the weight of the 8 cylinder counterpart, just get some steeda springs. i always highly recommend nto taking the cheap half ass route out of things, just save up and buy good quality parts

Is all you're doing drag racing this car, or do you plan on ever turning the steering wheel? Putting two stupidly low rate springs up front is going to make your car handle like a bus. If all you want is to put down times at the strip, then I have no idea, but this will destroy whatever cornering ability you had.

well that because you dont know drag suspensions... the 4 cly springs are superior to the so called "drag" springs that most people buy.. now true there are better springs to be had im not sayin that - just that for example many companies market a "drag street" spring - that does not offer nearly the weight transfer to be had with 4 cly springs.. however you should only do the 4 cly springs if you intend to drag and only drag
