MAF size/limitations

Wanted to get some opinions on mass air flow size and what their limitations (HP) are. I have a 1996 GT full PI swap, full exhaust, JLT RAI, Dragon 75mm t/b and plenum with a stock MAF. I am planning on a set of cams and a tune in the near future, I was talking with the guy who will be tuning my car and he asked what MAF I had, I replied stock and he seemed suprised. I always thought the MAF was plenty big on an N/A car but I want to be sure its not a bottleneck for me now.
I read around and have seen people claim the stock 96GT MAF is both 70mm and 80mm, which is correct? Did they go to a larger MAF somewhere along the lines? According to the "more than bolt ons? look here!" sticky by SWEET2KSTANG the stock MAF is good to over 350rwhp, not sure if that holds true for all 96-04 GT's. Any input is appreciated.

on n/a apps, the stock maf's have gone 350rwhp+ i built machboy's car, he ran on the stock maf and was 361/345 and coming close to its max. the 96-04 gt, machs, 99/01 cobra, all recieved 80mm maf's. once you start getting over the 350rwhp mark, then you can start looking into the need for a larger maf. even then, you only gaining a couple hp with the swap.
