bore?? pistons "|


okay i got a question bout bore out ur pistons or sumthin like that? my cusin told me bout it. what does that involve and how much am i thinkn to spent on it?? i kno wen u bore them out u been so get bigger pistons, but im confused on this matter. can any1 help me.

okay i wanna rebuild my engine. and bore it out new cams, but i dnt kno excaxty wat to do and wat parts to order? im tryn to build up my engine cuz i wanna supercharge it.

you need a machine in order to properly bore out an engine.

it has to be VERY percise or it won't work.

as far as cams get them custom grinded for the most power.

let me explain wat im tryn to do. i want to make my v8 alote stronger but i dnt kno how to make it stronger and better?? can u help? lol and how much would it cost to bore out my engine???

more than it's worth.

you need to have an engine rebuild which runs about $1500 and up.

I have a 2001 GT and I have plenty of N/A power.

browse around the tech section on these forums and you will find all the answers you need.

and If you don't I will be more than willing to help you.

can u help me ive been lookn around for a while and havnt found the answers i need i got a 01 gt also. im gettn my 4.10s in and goin LT headers and exhasut. im als0 gonna order a lowern kit also. but i wanna get alote more horses b4 i supercharge it. any suggestions??? i wanna get her running fast enough to bet a z28 tun import camero

your going to need full bolt ons to beat a z-28

-JLT fenderwell---best cai on the market
-SCT Xcal2 tuner
-80mm maf--mas airflow sensor
-ACCUFAB 75mm throtle body and plenum (get 70mm if your staying n/a)
-VT stage 2 cams
-39 pound injectors
-Aviator fuel pump

EXHAUST
-2.5 in piping
-MAC catted x-pipe
-MAGNAFLOW cat-back
-FLOWMASTER 40 weld-in's

BRAKES
-Cobra front brakes
-SS braided lines

DRIVETRAIN
-STEEDA tri-ax shifter
-KING COBRA clutch
-aluminum flywheel
-FRPP aluminum driveshaft
-FRPP 4:10 gears

SUSPENSION
-BILSTEIN rear shocks
-BILSTEIN quad shocks
-STEEDA lowering springs(camber adjusted)
