Gauge Cluster
I have look around on the internet for ways to remove my headlight knob so that I can get to my gauge cluster but all I find is something saying you have to use a bent nail and pry the lever up. I have tried this for about an hour and it isnt working. How the hell do you get this shit off?

Well, first of all calm down cause youre swearing. :wink
Second of all where have i seen that car, what other forums are you on ? And lastly....get a flashlight. get a 45 degree angle pick or a screwdriver ( a bit harder of a time with a screwdriver ) Very small though. Then turn youre light switch until you see a hole with a triangle thing in it. Then stick in the pick and pull up while you pull out on youre light switch. comes right off.

I looked in there with a flashlight, all I see is a black metal rod, I dont see any triangle looking thing at all.

If you keep turning it until you can see the shaft there will be a black triangle looking tab twords the end of the knob.

Im guessing the cobra light knob is different from the 99-04 GT's
I just pull mine off (with my hands) and then I can slide off the triangle piece off and put it back on!

Actually No not broken at all (Just used a shortcut my dad showed me a few years ago)! When (I PULL) off the knob the triangle piece is still on the rod, then I pull off the triangular piece off the rod, then when I go to put it back on I use a pin or a phillips head to put the metal piece back in to the knob and then slide it back onto the rod , like magic it's a snug fit! I installed my white face guage 3 weeks ago!
