I think you're spending your money in the wrong place.

To do big boost on an '01, you'll easily spend more money in the long run than you will to just buy the terminator up front.

But, you can get as much power out of the '01 it as you want to spend.

You'll need to get forged rods and pistons first. Then you can go with whatever power adder you want, I'd do a single turbo. Then be prepared to replace your transmission, rear end, and axles. Also you'll have ridiculous wheel hop and 0 traction unless you build the shit out of that IRS or do a solid axle swap.

So yeah, like Rev said... probably be cheaper to just buy the Termi

Research and planning.

To start, how are you defining performance? Horsepower? E.T.? What is it that you actually want to *do* with this car?

Do you understand the difference between the blocks used in the '99, '01, and '03 Cobras, and why one might be preferable to another? What's different in the drivetrain or suspension? The rotating assembly?

Do you understand the difference in the power curves generated by a single turbo, twin turbo, or the various types of superchargers?

You'll want to do about a year of research before you spend a dime on any parts.

Like Rev said, what do you want to do with the car? 1/4 mile monster, fast street car, open track car...?
