Subframe connectors w/Side exhaust??
ok i have a 98 with custom side exit exhaust... i want to upgrade suspension... what are my options with subframe connectors with my exhaust?

I think you will have to add some piping to go under the sub frames. It may be too low to be functional though. Speed bumps would definately be out of the equation.

There is one or two companies that make "stepped" subframe connectors that work with side exhaust, then one ill be ordering in a few weeks is made by spintech.
mustang depot and a few other places carry them. They are made specifically for people like us with this dillema. no need for dumps or adding piping |

why not just beat the piss out of the pipe's where the subframes would get in the way.
![]() kind of like making header's clear your steering shaft, just a little dent (or in this case, a flat "indent") where the flsfc would go?

good point never though of that, i guess it would work if you measured and go a sfc that was damn close, but most ive seen were pretty bulky and not sure if they would fit without denting it too much

i mean, like....it could work...no?
can you get under your car and take some pics of how close/what the routing looks like under there? noone's going to see it...kind of like header's...and i highly doubt it will effect exhaust flow AT ALL. just sayin' brochacho.

spintech looks likethe way to go for sho!! does anyone know who else besides spintech makes their mufflers square shaped ive been wondering for years what muffs i have installed and saw on the spintech website what i believe are my muffs... they sound so wicked have been asked if i have borla exhaust... just want to give credit where its due.
