ABS light burning steady


A few weeks ago my abs liggt on my 03 went on sporadically..now goes on and stays on. Plus, there is a noticeable rubbing sound in first gear or at slow speeds like under 10mph, again only on and off. The abs light bothers me cause I have a feelibg its not just anotger computer fart. Tell me what to check, where it is and what I might be looking for..is it possible somethibg just came loose? Help please cause I dont wanna let it possivly get worse.

abs light being on just means your abs is not working. Your brakes will still work fine so dont feel like they will go out on you. You could have a bad sensor or the abs motor itself quick working.

Will a tune get rid of it or will I have to replace the sensor? And where is the sensor by the way..

There is an ABS sensor in the wheels hub assembly. Have someone scan the code and see what it says. Any garage or Auto Parts store can check it for you.

I don't believe that's true, I think the ABS system falls outside of OBDII. I know that I can't scan the ABS code on my Bronco ('96) with my any of my scanners.
