Everyday Driving? 100% hands down "NEW" GT. It's brand new, don't have to worry about possible issues as it's covered under warranty. I like the cobra's but their now 8/9 years old....the technology is outdated compared to what out on the market now. The 2012 has made lightyears in advancements especially inside the mustang but comfort/controls. Your motor (5.0) is going to be solid and just with a few simple bolt-ons plus tune your well over 400 rwhp.

t-56 or the new trannys that are made in china. No offense but id still take a termi over a 5.0 day. I see 5.0's everywhere but only a few termis.

Also if she keeps the 5.0 stock, then go for that for everyday driving. If you have a very short commute, termi.

Hey no offense taken. Your opinion is your opinion. But just so you the 2011/2012 runs the MT-82 manual transmission which is the Made In China item. The automatics aren't made there. There's a partnership between Ford and Getrag for the 6spd. I've heard both sides of the issue about the new 6spd tranny. People whom love it, others who have had issues. Here's a good testiment: http://www.modularfords.com/forums/f...-trans-172575/

Little fun fact, Getrag made the 6-speed trans that came in the MKIV Supras and it is one BA tranny. It's just 1st year jitters i think being in a mustang These days everything is made in China. Yes, it's cheaper quality but by doing so it keeps the consumer price as well as overhead cost done for the consumer.

I like the looks better of the termi. That's what I would go with.

Fair enough on that part. I personally couldn't own an automatic. Just preference. Id still take a new 5.0 any day, id just keep it bone stock. Mind you I'd do the same with a termi also.

I just think there's a bit more mystique to a Cobra as opposed to a regular 5.0 GT. I really like the track pack cars, they look bad to the bone. I'm not taking anything away from the new mustangs either, I'd love to have one, but given the choice I'd go for the Cobra.

Unless it was a Boss . The regular GT's just won't hold their value like an 03 Cobra.

The 04 Terminators are classic, timeless pieces of machinery. The 2012...just another mustang. Go for the 04 Cobra!!

^ That's what I was trying to say. You can't go wrong with either one though. They're both badass cars.
