i found a 02 saleen s351 convertible with a rebuilt title.katrina flood damage car.what is it worth i dont have a way to judge the price.cant find a book value.or a close year with a rebuilt or close to the same miles i expect it to have.is it worth more or less then 15k.

depends on the condition of the car if its rebuilt the way its supposed to its worth way more then 15k if its a cheap ass throw it together to sell rebuild then not worth the time

well the car has'nt been rebuilt yet.it is still a salvage title car i can buy it really cheap.i think i can have it repaired for 15k.i just want to know if i can get my money back or not.i think in the end i would possibly have 18-20k invested.anyone else want to chime in or no were i can get some info to get an idea of ehat it's worth.

I honestly don't think you can get your money back on that car. My friend purchased a 97 saleen with 70k on her on a salvage title. He paid about 10k for the car and has constant problems since. In my opionion, once a cars been totaled it's been totaled. part it out, sale her, do what ever, but don't try to fix something that in all honesty, is someone else's garbage. Don't get me wrong, I've seen some amazing things since the katrina flood to cars, but i would have to put myself through the hweartache of what ifs. For 15 grand man u can get youtself a nice cobra, hell, sve a little and u'll be able to afford a terminator.
