MACH 460 System... replacement speakers? Head Unit???

I bought my 96' Cobra expecting the Mach 460 system to be fine... well it's not. Most all of the speakers are done for. And the head unit that's in it now is SHITTY. Can i simply replace my speakers and head unit?

Yes. I'll even give you recommendations for best SQ:

Eclipse or Alpine for the headunit.

Polk Momo, Alpine, Boston Acoustics, or Pioneer for speakers.

JL Audio, Adire Brahma's, Boston Acoustics, Rockford Fosgate(Power Series), Alpine(Type R's), or Kicker Solobaric's(L7's).

These are just a few. I would advise you to stay away from Sony's car audio, along with Power Acoustiks etc...and pretty much any car audio Best Buy or Wal-Mart sells, because those guys stuff is cheap for a reason, and it's not because it's good. Enjoy!
