Mach 1 vs GT

I've recently been looking at buying a Mustang. I was wondering what you guys' opinion is on the Mach 1. Should I go for the Mach 1 or the GT? Specs on both?

Mach 1, 320hp 32valve 4.6 vs GT 260hp 16valve 4.6

Mach 1 > GT.

Really the main difference is the motor and shaker system. The rest is all looks.

Thanks, let me also say that I'm wanting to keep the car for as long as possible. I'm wanting to make it look as original as I can.

Mach 1> GT. Looks better, has better seats and it's just plain sexy.

yeah, get a mach. has a 4v, that will save you alot of heartache and money trying to get a big HP number. Has the same c-heads as the 03-04 cobras. the interior is amazing, and the mahc package and shaker is great to look at, not to metion the shaker looks amazing behind the wheel. AB or SY imo. sexiest colors for a mach.

Not even close. A Mach 1 is a second quicker than a GT, looks better, sounds better, holds value better, and can handle and respond to adding power better.

MACH 1 > GT

Might I add that the Mach 1 has a tad better suspension setup & cobra brakes.

get the mach if thats your choice. I test drove one with a full exhaust, 4.10gears, and cai a few years ago an it put an instant grin on my face. get the Mach

i was pissed that i could have got a Mach 1 for a few grand more when i bought my GT last year.

Mach 1 = 3.55 gears
GT = 3.27 gears
At the end of the day, my personal favorite is 3.73's.

Personally I say it depends on what you're trying to do.. I mean if u find a gt for 10 and a Mach for 12, slap in the face if u get a gt. however, if ur looking to build u can find a gt for Muuuch cheaper and spend the money on building up. Like of you find a gt for 4 and wanna throw the rest into a build, but Mach will hold value, be much less work.. Well the advantages could just go on haha

. would have bought a Mach but I got my car for just over 4..
