X pipe install question HELP PLZ


I have a 98 gt and on the passenger side exhaust pipe right where the xpipe meets the header or where first O2 sensor is i can't get that lower bolt off... the upper one came off no problem but i just can't get this one off? any suggestions on what to do... plzz help

it'll come right off.

wait like till its glowing red or what my issue is that my swivle(spelling?) feels like its pinched where its at so i was wondering what other tool poeple have used to get it off??? it seem like it would be alot easier if i removed the starter??? how hard is that to take off?

you have a swivle? or swivle sockets? need a swivle socket. r u using air tools?

The passenger side is a PITA to get off. You really need a deep socket cut down so you have access. Just keep working on it and you should get it. Make sure you have a good universal extension.

Lol i stripped the shit out of that bolt but fianlly it came off...x pipe doesn't sound to bad at all but im still running my stock mufflers so i hope that it will sound better when i change those out to some flowmasters... quick question... do yall think i could run close to a 14 second 1/4 with 3.73 gears, CAI, x pipe, and a 93 octane tune??? completely stock i ran 14.7 all day.

probably not but close i think that for every 10 extra horsepower you can count on like shaving a tenth off of your time
