Custom Mustangs???

K so im wondering of some places that do custom mustangs. Not jsut any custom places...but places that specialize in mustangs and fords in general.

I know of Xtreme Mustang Performance (X-M-P) not sure if they are still around though, by the looks of their website, they arent cause it hasnt been updated in 2 years. Although mapquest says they are stil there in Alisa Viejo, CA.

But i currently own a F-150 2005, with alot of mods, and im going to be selling it next year for a 'stang for college, cause my truck just wont cut it since gas mileage and its size. And ill be getting the 'stang customized.

Thanks
Patrick

my bad im in georgia.
location doesnmt really matter as X-M-P is on the west coast and i was going to have my mustang built there a year ago but i went with my truck instead.

Of course id rather it be a closer location in the event of a problem with the car so i can take it to them, but it isnt a big deal if the company is reputible and does some good work.

Thanks

my plan so far is to take a cobra, or a 2001 mustang and put a twin turbo on it from http://www.turbochargedpower.com/ or somewhere else.
and a custom automatic ratchet shifting tranny. and of course suspension and brakes and alll.

thanks for the site

im pretty sure mustangs dont get a average of 12.

the best initial gas mileage i ever get is around 15 and thats cruise control at around 75 mph.

under acceleration i get 4-6 mpg.

so the mustang will be a improvement. and also i dont thinkt he mustang needs premium like i do...but then again i have a tuner on level 3 that requires 93 octane.

with the mustang ill have tunes for street and track and whatever else.

Mustang GT stock runs on 87 and that is what it needs, dont put high octane in a car that is not meant for it...

thast what im saying....my mustang will help me not only in gas mileage but when filling up.

but ill have a tune for street and then a tune to run off 93 octane to get most my power and pounds boost for the track.

ill be using a 1999-2004 mustang for my build most likely unless i can find a high mileage 05+ year, cause i mean ill basically be having my engine re-built when i get it for perofrmance.

I am by no means trying to sound like an ass here, but if you have the moola to have a custom car built for you how can you not afford the extra gas.

i know where you can get a badass 2000 mustang thats allready built and just needs the turbos thrown on it to make 600+ rwhp. if your interested send me a pm and check out the for sale section. over 30 grand in this car and its just begging for boost. will handle anything your ever gonna throw at it. its in the for sale section under 2000 gt for sale, built right and no corners cut. lemme know if your interested. itll get close to 25 mpg if you keep you foot out of it.

Cause the way im doing it, is buying a high mileage mustang, and rebuild the engine with forged parts and all. You can find these mustangs soo cheap. Also if i get a 2005+ mustang im getting the most basic mustang i can find that is still a GT, with high mileage.
