Advice Needed: Tire Size

I have a 2004 GT with stock wheels and tires. I just purchased FR500 wheels, 18X9 for the front and 18X10 for the rear. I am going to purchase BF Goodrich GForce KD tires. Currently I am considering 295/35/18 for the rear and 265/40/18 for the front. I do not race, but I do regular high speed freeway running at 100+ MPH.

I would appreciate technical folks' advice on if I've hit the right sizing for tires,and if not what they would recommend and the technical reasons why.

Welcome to MM and yes those tire sizes will be perfect for your wheel sizes. I'm a personal fan of the FR500 wheels, love them!

Also, NITTO makes a better DR than BFG.
