GEAR OIL LEAK IN REAR END!!! HELP

I have gear oil coming from my rear end, but its not coming from the girdle so its not a gasket or a crack in the girdle, its coming out of something just in front of it, idk what its coming from. If anyone knows of what kind of problem this is please tell me, im not sure but i think i need a new rear end which i would not like to pay for but i want to know why oil is coming out.

Its your pinion seal! Just take the driveshaft down and you will beable to pop another one on there!

and put an aluminnum driveshaft in her place to reduce friction.

just some advice. you'll need an impact to remove the nut on the front of the diff.

i didn't need an impact gun but yeah anyway i would take it to a shop to have the seal replaced because i've asked around and the right way to do it is to install a new crush sleeve and reset the preload, which takes something like 400 ft lbs to torque down, whenever the pinion nut is loosened(just google it) i replaced my leaking pinion seal but it was still looking so i took it to a transmission place that does diff and trans case work as well and it turned out that my pinion bearing was bad from an improper ring and pinion install (by the previous owner of course) but its up to you but somebody screwed mine up and it cost me over five hundred dollars to have the pinion and carrier bearings replaced so depending on how bad it is leaking if you have stock gears etc. I would just leave it be for a while after topping off the gear oil until you can have it done right for 1xx dollars

p.s. usually when the pinion bearing goes completely it grenades your ring and pinion but you should have no problem with you bearings if you have stock components and have not beaten the complete piss out of your car
