FLOWMASTER 40'S WITH A MAGNAFLOW X PIPE

I've installed magnaflow x-pipe with flowmaster 40 cat back.

The exhaust sounds like it rattles when the car is cold. Once it warms up I get the deep throating sound of the Flowmaster. It doesn't seem to be touching anything underneath.

Can anyone tell me what is causing the rattle when the vehicule is cold.

are you sure its the exhaust rattling or is it the exhaust pinging through the x pipe because the piping is cold?

It may be exhaust pinging throught the X pipe. Is this normal?
How do I get rid of that sound? It only happens at about 2200 RPM.

I am new to this sport. I'm not sure I understand the logic behind the "pinging" why does exhaust cause that sound?

Thanks

Happened to my gt. The passenger side flowmaster rattled from the inside because it was broken. I've read alot about people having this problem after having them on the car for a while. The 40's werent my choice (they were welded in) so the Magnapacks are doing the trick. With no rattles

I had the same problem its because of the pipes as soon as I got the midpipe welded between my divorced duals the rattle went away.
