which direction to go

heres the choices..... upgrade my p series blower to a d series for 1300. problem with that is i will prolly max that out and wont be able to grow if i want to later.
i have a guy willing to pay 2800 for my blower set up then i could get either a novi2000, procharger f series, or any other suggestions. anyone know what kinda power i might be able to make with a novi 2000. i have a built motor,vt stage 2 heads and blower cams. all the bolt ons. do you think the novi 2000 will get me to 650rwhp on race gas? or do you think the d series procahrger would get there?

That last option never works. I'd find the cheapest way to get it to 650 rwhp and go that route.

the d1sc is plenty capable of getting to 650. there is a guy that has a p1sc that is in the low 6xxrwhp, his set up was bulit and tune through texas hot rods i think. it really depends on what you want kind of set up you want, i would stay with procharger but thats me.

the f series prochargers flow enough cfm to blow your motor if you want lol.
not to mention they sound sick.
and a d series will give you more than enough hp. what are your goals with it?

no im not ready for it to be a track only car yet. thats why i am kind of leaning away from the f series. i just want to have the capability to make 600-700rwhp. .the novi 2000 should get me there with my set up. thats looking more and more like the better choice

The novi will get you there nicely...

You should be able to pick them up for a resonable price...

Depends on what all you need though...

And also depends on what all you would be selling with your P1...

A car with a built 2V with some head work and cams went 725 rwhp...Of coarse it had the fuel set-up for that kind of power as well...

I also know that Chad over at MPH made 601 with a built 2V, stock plastic intake, and stock heads...Just had MPH Cams and alot of boost...

I think the novi will easily get you to where you want...

You have a cobra tank dont you? Your fuel set-up will be the limiting factor...

My Novi 2000 gets me 479 rwhp on a stock block with rods and pistons no bore or sleeves and all stock heads, just cams and bolt ons. That is on 93 pump gas and at 8psi.

The novi 2000 is good for up to 29 lbs of boost. So I think 650 rwhp on race gas is no problem.

I have a buddy with a 99 Cobra, stock heads, factoy block but new rods and pistons. He is running around 21 lbs and make 750 rwhp on race gas. he does have very aggresive cams but still it shows the power is there and with out full use of the blower.

yea i def like the novi 2000. i am really leaning towards that. yea ive got the cobra tank....i will need to do a fuel line upgrade and maybe a set of the ford gt pumps instead of the cobra pumps i got. my set up right now should support 650. but thats prolly about it as it sits right now.
