upgrading my gt exhaust?
hey im new to this website! i have an 03 gt and looking to upgrade the exhaust.
I already have flowmaster mufflers but i was looking to do headers back prob. 2.5in. piping? Whats the difference between long tube and shortie headers? And will a bbk h-pipe with highflows sound nice?

Shorty headers won't really do much. They are basically a stock manifold replacement. You will actually feel the horsepower/sound gains with the long tubes. Make sure you get a shorty X or H pipe if you get the long tubes.

the difference between long tube headers and shorties is the sound and lenght of the headers.
the lone tube are not legal in most states but they will make more power than shorties by a long run. 2.5 piping is just fine for you car. I'm not sure about how it will sound but you can take a look at our exhaust clip section an see what sound you like best. welcome to the forums
