i think the springs have a lot to do with it. ever since i put on my eibachs and my car has hooked a TON better. it wouldn't do second gear burnouts on dry pavement after i got the new springs, before that it did them like nothing. then when i got my new tires it made a huge difference. i dont have any spinning issues at all, even when i slam second gear. but then again my car doesn't have any performance mods except a cat-back..

I got a 95 and a 2000 GT, the 2000 is way stiffer, but my 5.0 does hook better... Kinda funny now that you mention it.
