clutch prob?

So heres the problem.
about 3 weeks ago i got a king cobra clutch kit and put it on my 00 GT.
i ordered the kit b/c it felt like it was engaging high and roughly.
after about a day these symptoms returned.
what could be causing this>? perhaps the clutch cable should be replaced?
any ideas?
thanks for the help

yep. bought the kit. used the whole thing.
ive read somewhere about clutch cables stretching out.
and i think that might be the problem. i can put my foot under it. and if lift up after everyshift before the next shift...its smooth. if i dont its rough????
anything???

Just had this done at the dealer today - REPLACED CLUTCH DISC PRESSURE PLATE THROWOUT BEARING AND FLYWHEEL. and it only cost me $1,608. parts and labor...thats right only $1,608. LOL. The clutch is like butter and to top it off they threw in a complete Ford Quality Check for free (whatever?). I wish I could have done it myself, perhaps my cost will out weigh the problems you are having with self install. My hat is off to you do it yourselfers. :award
