Engine build up.

I'm going to start a new engine build in the next six months or so. Is it worth it to put out the money for the aluminum cammer block from ford, or should I use the money to buy a fully prepped block from an aftermarket supplier? Also, this engine will be N/A.

For my money I would buy a fully prepped crate motor from some place like DSS.

For the price of the ford 5.0L mod cammer engine you could probably build a at least a low 11-second car.
