loudest noise

i know this is a crazy question but which one makes the loudest noise ....i love the sound of the S/C when u get down on it i never heard a turbos sound though

they both make a lot of noise man.

they are just different noises.

the s/c will be more high piched.

haha the really high boost turbos will be loud as shit man when they're wot... and the bov's sound awesome when they shift... but uhh, the loudest s/c's I ever heard were vortech's and procharger... kb's have that whining sound that's pretty unique

i love listening to my turbo spool up when im mashing the pedal on the road. sweet whining i gotta go for a ride .

the loudest from far away would be the kenne bell/roots, from close up i would say a turbo or a centrifugal supercharger... Twin turbos are pretty fuckin loud also

BLow off from the turbos sounds sick. But whinning of the screw S/C are nice. Root style S/C sound great also.

keep in mind thought at the same time your turbo is hooked up to your exhaust

i wouldnt go that far , my buddy has a 02 lightning with the stock blower and a 6lb pulley and you cant hear the exhaust at all

agree with an o/r prochamber and flowmaster catback at wot you could not hear my exhaust over the procharger.
