Saleen Mustang Mods & Upgrades

I recently pruchased a 2000 Saleen Mustang from a dealership and plan to make a few modifications to add some ponies. I was just wondering if a throttle body would be a good direction. If so, should I go with BBK or Accufab? 75MM or 70MM? Also, I've been thinking about changing the underdrive pulleys. I've heard, however, that they shouldn't be changed in sugercharged motors. Is it okay to replace the stock pullies for BBK ones? I know there probably won't be any significant change in horsepower, but anything helps, right? Well, I'd really appreciate any well-informed suggestions! Thanks![/img]

Don't use underdrive pulleys on a supercharged engine!! 75 MM Accufab, bigger the better with a supercharger...

Thanks for the advice! What about an Accufab Inatake Plenum to go with the Accufab Throttle Body? I've heard that these two upgrades put together are better than any of them by themselves. Does anyone know if these intake plenums actually fit on a Supercharged Saleen? Should I just leave the stock alone? Or should I just go with the throttle body? All well-inormed replies are very much appreciated. Thanks!

Here's a couple pictures of my engine bay. Adding an Accufab 75MM Throttle Body is my main priority right now. I've already had BBK headers installed, in addition to a BBK x-pipe (with cats). I know underdrive pulleys are out of the question for any supercharged unit, but I'm still unsure about the Accufab Intake Plenum to go with the TB...

i dont think accufab makes one. cai, maf, blower pulley, tune, and maybe p&p the blower is what i would do.

No the accufab will not go on the car with the roots blower on there. If it were a centri then yes. Above mentioned upgrades are great suggestions.

You should see if JLT makes a CAI for your car...

Thought so...

The Saleen blower has its own plenum...

A TB will do you just fine...

But remember you will need a tune with these new mods...

Throttle Body Spacers? WTF?

Well, soon I'm planning on changing to an Accufab 75mm Throttle Body. But what about throttle body spacers? Do these things actually work? Or should I just skip these? Anyone know of any good air intake kits to go with a 2000 Saleen S/C? (See my pictures above). Thanks!!!

you wont need a spacer. all they do is make the intake think its bigger than it actually is.

Throttle Body & CAI

Okay, so spacers are completely useless. What about a cold/ram air intake for a 2000 Saleen S/C? I tried JLT, but their kits are only designed for 2003-2003 Saleens (fudge!).
