Overboring a 4.6 Aluminum block
Has anyone done this? I haven't been able to find any info on it. I am researching stroking a 4v motor and I see there is kit available (ModMax) and it mentions getting 302ci with .020 over bore. As this is an aluminum block I don't know if I can or how much I can bore it. Anyway info would be welcomed....... thanks Dman

+.020 is just fine, i think +.030 and more is pushing it. livernois, vt, modmax, are the most commonn strokert kits out on the market.
