I'm really considering 3.73's. They seem to be the best all around gear for me.

could you put anywhere on the original post about 3.90's if you get the time. i decided to go with those cuz i wanted something more than 3.73's but less than 4.10's! plus i got them for $110 shipped!!!

+1 on making this a sticky!

Assuming stock height tires, 245/45/17, 275/40/17, 315/35/17, etc... and once again, these are theoretical speeds. Assuming your car had enough power, you could reach these speed. Again, just a guidline... here are 3.90s

6,000 rpm
1st ---- 34.79 mph
2nd ---- 58.79 mph
3rd ---- 89.08 mph
4th ---- 117.58 mph
5th ---- 189.65 mph

5,750 rpm (stock red line)
1st ---- 33.34 mph
2nd ---- 56.34 mph
3rd ---- 85.37 mph
4th ---- 112.68 mph
5th ---- 181.75 mph

5,250 rpm (stock peak hp)
1st ---- 30.44 mph
2nd ---- 51.44 mph
3rd ---- 77.94 mph
4th ---- 102.89 mph
5th ---- 165.94 mph

4,000 rpm (stock peak torque)
1st ---- 23.19 mph
2nd ---- 39.19 mph
3rd ---- 59.39 mph
4th ---- 78.39 mph
5th ---- 126.43 mph

80 mph in 5th gear ---- 2,531 rpm
60 mph in 5th gear ---- 1,898 rpm
45 mph in 5th gear ---- 1,424 rpm
40 mph in 4th gear ---- 2,041 rpm
