I just wanna add that it is very important to not let your wife know about the TCS button because someday she may be driving your car.I like knowing she has a sort of governor on it.

And if your wife ever...and i mean ever let you start moddin it you can run a tune to program that out completely so you don't ever have to mess with that again.

Yeah it got me one time. I was racing a newer Z28, and lauch was fine cause I didn't lauch hard enough to spin, but hard enough to get movin'. Then came the 1-2 shift... I power shift and all my power goes to shit because of the TCS for about a 1/2 second... fortunetaly the Z was a shitty driver so I still won

haha one time my friend whos a camaro guy wanted to "show" me how to do burnouts in my mustang, so i kept the tsc on and hahah he was like WEAK FUCKIN FORD.. then i showed him with the button off.. he didn't realize for the first 20 minutes

HAHAHA, I had a friend who is a chevy lover, and he wanted to do a donut in my car. Now I had the TSC off, but he started in 2nd gear

. He brings the revs to about 2K and dumps the clutch, damn near stalls, my car jerks back and forth for a second trying to recover, and then we sit there driving in a circle for another couple seconds until the tires finally break loose. Needless to say he has never driven my car since then...

you cant get the wheels to spin.. it bogs the car down when you floor it, so you wont loose traction.

Traction Control is tied into you anti-skid system. The computer applies brakes to spinning wheels and retards the engine. The harder you try to launch, the more forcibly the computer says no.

Plus it's fun to watch the light turn when you floor it doin' 50 in the rain and feel the rear slide a little!

It saved me a few times when I was driving in the snow. But when I get my car tuned, I will be taking it off perm. I lost a race or two off the line because of it too.
